The Garmin Oregon 600 Worldwide GPS offers the best value for money in the category of hunting GPS devices. It features a 3-inch (7.6 cm) touchscreen display and uses the dual-band GPS/GLONASS satellite positioning. Aside from all this, it has 3 sensors plus the Bluetooth or ANT technology. The Bluetooth technology gives it its increased performance when it comes to connectivity, as the unit can be used to share waypoints and routes through a wireless connection.

In the package, the Garmin Oregon 600 Worldwide GPS includes the GPS device, a USB/charging cable, a worldwide map, the documentation required for it and a carabiner clip. Seeing the GPS works with rechargeable batteries, it can be said that it’s a very versatile device. A NiMH battery pack can be bought separately and used when the original one is charging. The Garmin GPSMAP 64s Worldwide GPS is a great choice for hunting enthusiasts because it’s available in many styles and has various features. For example, there’s its version featuring ANT or Bluetooth and the US Topography model that is more expensive. While it doesn’t have touchscreen like other devices in the same category, it still comes with a sunlight-readable display that’s resistant to impact and 2.6 inches (6.6 cm) wide.  

The batteries on the Garmin GPSMAP 64s Worldwide GPS are the traditional AA type, but the device is also compatible with a NiMH pack. This GPS can be used to share track routes between users that are using any other Garmin unit. In addition to all this, it can be connected to a smartphone for reading emails and messages and depending on your trail camera it can sometimes communicate with these also. Another of its great features is the built-in electronic compass. Besides, it can be connected to many other Garmin instruments like foot pods and heart rate monitors.
